CLUB TRAVEL TEAMS (WINTER/SPRING)
Club Travel Teams are offered in ages 10U to 18U. The season runs from December into March or April depending on the team’s level. These teams will compete mainly in USA Volleyball events. Some teams will compete in AAU Volleyball Events as well. Teams will receive a minimum of two practices a week and 6 to 8 events depending on the team’s competitive level.
This program is the heart of club volleyball. Our coaches structure practices to provide a fast paced and competitive environment. All of our coaches have competed at the club and or collegiate level which gives them insight on how to teach the game. The majority are educators and pride themselves in being able to break down skills and teach strategy in a positive way. Many of our coaches have qualified teams for USAV Nationals over the years and several have top finishes at AAU Nationals.
Tryouts for Club teams usually take place in Jul/Aug for HS ages and Aug/Sep for Elem and MS ages. Practices begin in late November or Early December. We do our best to offer teams in each age group. We create each team’s schedule and package based off their experience competitive level. Travel Teams range from $2000 to $3500 and payments are spread out over 7 months. The Mini Club program is an 8-week skill training for Upper Elementary and Middle School age players in Fall. They call it Mini-Club because it is a short club style season leading up to the start of our club travel teams in Winter. The program will focus on volleyball specific movements and skills to enhance the players overall abilities, develop fundamental skills, create team building skills throughout disciplined program.
We ability group our more experienced players and beginning players to create different level teams within each age group. Mini club is offered to all skill levels, ages 8U-14U and under.
Mini Club Season typically starts in August and runs into October. Practices will be twice a week for 1.5 hours. There will be two Clearwater events and the potential for an informal scrimmage. Cost for Mini-Club Season is $500 and players will receive a practice shirt and Jersey for competition.
All Athletes must have a 2021 AAU Membership. The membership is Mandatory. You must print and bring the membership card with you to the first practice at check-in. You can visit www.AAUsports.org after August 15th of each year and click on join now. Do not purchase the membership prior to this date or you will have to end up purchasing two AAU memberships.
Training League is a 4, 6 or 8 week program depending on the time of year and availability of gyms and coaching. The League will focus on volleyball specific movements and skills to enhance the players overall abilities, develop fundamental skills, create team building skills through out disciplined program. Players will receive the same type of training that a travel team essentially, but with out the travel component.

PIRATE VOLLEYBALL CAMPS are typically 4 days long and take place in June and July. We offer several sessions based on the camper’s age and ability level.
We plan to run several camps over the Summer at Braden River High School and Haile Middle School. Costs run from $130 to $150 depending on the length of the camp. This is great for all levels of players. We ability group and give high reps to maximize the contacts so it improves the player skills.
