2026 SUMMER VOLLEYBALL CAMPS
WAVE ALLIANCE is hosting 2 indoor summer camps in June and July. All camps are hosted and insured by WAVE ALLIANCE VOLLEYBALL and all athletes have to be AAU members. Please take your time and carefully read the different times and locations for your daughters. We work to keep a good Camper to Coach Ratio, so we will cap a camp depending on our numbers. In a typical year our camps sell out, so early registration is important. Payment will be taken in Cash or Check only on the first day of Camp. All Campers must have an AAU membership to participate http://www.aausports.org (youth athlete).
We ability group within our Camp sessions to help give the best style of instruction to each camper. Our younger athletes or those newer to the game will have a greater focus on fundamental skills. Campers with more experience will be taught different concepts to help them improve their current level of play.
We work to keep drills fast paced, competitive, and fun during the week. Players need to come in with a open mindset, not be afraid of failing, and working to apply information given to them by the coaching staff. All Camps will be ran by Coach Matthew McElhiney – Director of WAVE ALLIANCE and Head Coach at Braden River HS. Matt has over 25 years of coaching HS, Club, and Camps. He has had championship success at the high school and club levels winning multiple district titles as well as several National qualifiers. We will have other high school and club coaches working into the camps over the Summer. Camps are open to any and all players regardless of School or club affiliation. Our goal is to grow the game and help anyone looking to increase their knowledge and skills within the sport of volleyball.
When placing athletes WAVE has the right to move a player into the appropriate group regardless of a parent’s wish. We work to keep our groups at the appropriate levels based on their experience and ability. We will do our best to help keep athletes together, but friends are not a determining factor when grouping athletes within a session. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MOVE A PLAYER TO A DIFFERENT SESSION IF WE FEEL THEY REGISTERED FOR THE INCORRECT LEVEL. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS GIVEN FOR MOVING A PLAYER TO A DIFFERENT SESSION.
